This Week at Jazzy Faith Designs

This week has reminded me that God often speaks the loudest through the quiet, ordinary moments — the ones we’re tempted to overlook.

From peaceful mornings with family, to serving at our church’s Eggstravaganza, to watching my wife and step‑daughter step into their own leadership, I’ve seen God’s goodness woven through every part of our days. Not in dramatic ways, but in steady, gentle reminders that He is close.

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.”
— 1 John 3:16

That verse has followed me all week.
And honestly, it’s exactly what this week has looked like — small acts of love, small sacrifices, small moments of choosing patience, kindness, and presence.

Serving on the SEND team was challenging but meaningful. We supported kids who were overwhelmed, overstimulated, and struggling to settle. It stretched us, but it also reminded me that love is practical. Love is patient. Love shows up even when it’s messy.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18

I saw that lived out in my family.
Tasha led her team with the calm strength of a teacher.
Jas stepped into her role as a young leader with confidence and kindness.
And together, we served our community as a family — something I don’t take for granted.

Back at home, the peace continued.
Good food, gratitude, laughter, and the simple joy of being together reminded me that God’s presence isn’t limited to church buildings or events. He’s in our homes, our conversations, our rest, and our routines.

This week, I also scheduled two weeks of encouragement posts for JFD — simple messages of hope that I pray will reach the right people at the right time. Because that’s what this movement is about:

Not hype.
Not trends.
Not chasing numbers.

Just hope.
Just encouragement.
Just reminders that God is near, even in the everyday.

“Encourage one another and build each other up.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11

If even one person feels lifted, seen, or strengthened by something we share, then JFD is doing exactly what it was created to do.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Thank you for carrying hope with us.
And thank you for believing that faith can be lived out in the small, ordinary moments — because that’s where God does some of His best work.
